Student life at Monash

Student life is not just about study. It is also about meeting new people, having fun, and developing skills that will make a positive impact on the world. Monash University hosts many different groups that organise fun activities. From joining a student political organisation, to working on a student newspaper or participating in one of the many performing arts groups - make the most of your university experience and get involved.

Clubs and societies

Each of our campuses has many clubs that you can join. They organise activities such as trips and social events. They are a great way to get active, have fun, make new friends and experience new things. Visit the Clubs and societies website.

Monash student associations

Run by students, student associations represent your interests on campus. They give you the chance to tell the university what you think and influence student life. There are heaps of different ways to get involved, such as writing for the student newspaper, joining a special interest club, and organising activities like orientation week. You will be able to develop many professional skills such as leadership and teamwork skills. Visit the student associations websites.

Monash Sport

We have fully equipped fitness centres and related sports services on many of our campuses. We encourage you to take part in team sport and competitions such as the Australian University Games. Visit the Monash Sport website.
